Farewell My Lady Loves

I dedicate this post to two very lovely pink ladies. They have been with me in good times and better times for a few fabulous years. Many late nights and long walks. They made me feel confident, fun, flirty and sometimes sexy. Every time I saw them I knew that it was going to be a great adventure because it was always on special occasions and in good company that we were together.

We have traveled and danced our way from Boston to New York to Las Vegas over the Atlantic to Amsterdam, Barcelona and Paris. The have accented a day at the beach in Cancun and pool side days in Panama. They have been trustworthy, reliable, classic and comfortable. They are hot pink and they are fabulous.

A good thing never lasts forever.

Last night they took a turn for the worse. For the first time since the first time we got to know each other I was bruised and cut and hurt. Battle wounds that we have not experienced together were painful and a telltale sign that they have seen better days.

I dedicate this post to these ladies as after a close examination it has been decided with heartfelt sadness that it is time to bid these rockstars farewell. We have been there, done it, done it again and now it is time to retire and make room for new loves. They will be greatly missed.
