Tonight I had play rehearsal and of course it's raining. So afterwards I fold up my script, put it in the back of my jeans so it doesn't get wet and meet up with my director for a quick chat.
On our way out afterwards I head off one way, her heading back in the direction from which we came when I hear her calling my name. I turn around and she is in a near beeline with an umbrella as I am standing there like a donkey getting rained on and says "I found this and it's soaking wet."
My damn script three weeks before the play. Awesome.
