Sprouts and Heads

Our balcony garden is growing! In place of flowers we decided to grow a variety of lettuce, herbs and baby tomatoes. They are coming along!

Last summer we tried to grow seeds in, like, the end of June and by the Indian summer week of October we had some lettuce! Hahaha...umm, good job!

So this year we got on the ball and planted some seedlings and some pre grown lettuce. Yay! Basil is not coming along so well thanks to some fat birdies that pecked out all of the seeds. But here they are!
