When the woods come to life it's easy to see,
A house or a stable made just by a tree.
Every part of a tree can be something new,
A wand or a sofa or table for two!
When the woods come to life there's a magical song,
It's about laughing and singing and playing along!
It's different for those who go to the woods to hear,
The sound of silence or the steps of the deer.
When the woods come to life it's bursting with adventure,
Pretending to be soldiers or a horse riding contender.
A princess, a warrior a witch or two,
All live in these woods, it's all up to you!
When the woods come to life,
It reminds me to be,
Less like a stone and more like a tree.
Thank you for bringing me out to these woods,
Which are usually just piles of sticks filled with bugs.
The kids see the woods as a territory,
Where imaginations run wild and they can be free!
